Birth of Roger Ducos
Roger Ducos, a deputy in the National Convention who later joined the five-member Directory, was born in Dax on 25 July 1747. After the coup of 9 November 1799, known in the revolutionary calendar as 18 Brumaire, he briefly served as one of the three provisional consuls.
